Participant Agreement & Liability Waiver

By registering for and participating in "An Austen Affair" retreat, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
• You acknowledge that your participation is voluntary and that you assume full responsibility for any injury, illness, accident, or harm that may occur during the retreat.
• You agree to release and hold harmless Meg Daly / Meg Daly LLC, any guest facilitators, collaborators, and the owners of the private retreat spaces—including their employees, representatives, and affiliates—from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising from your participation.

2. Medical Disclaimer
• The practices, teachings, and rituals shared during this retreat are designed for personal growth, reflection, and self-awareness. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment.
• Retreat facilitators are not licensed medical or mental health professionals.
• If you have pre-existing medical conditions or mental health concerns, it is your responsibility to consult with your healthcare provider before participating.

3. Photography & Media Release
• Moments from the retreat may be captured via photo or video for future promotional or educational use.
• By attending, you consent to the use of your image in retreat-related materials.
• If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify Meg Daly in writing at meg@megkdaly.com prior to the retreat.

5. Agreement & Acknowledgment
By completing your registration and submitting payment, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined above. You voluntarily release all claims of liability and participate with full personal responsibility.

"I have never attended a retreat before but when I read the description of this event I immediately felt drawn to it. I signed up without hesitation. The feeling of connection with Meg and the other women attending the retreat started months before we even met. We received periodic emails from Meg filling us in on what to expect and things to ponder. Our time together in her beautiful home was spent sharing, connecting, reflecting, learning from one another, journaling and forest bathing. The days were also interspersed with time on our own. Meg curated such a beautiful experience for each of us through her attention to details, knowledge, insight, artisrty and wisdom. The chef prepared meals were delicious and created with intention. I came away from the retreat feeling more connected with myself. I also felt a deep connection with the other women in our group, like we had been on a journey together. I have new tools that I look forward to using in my life to maintain that sense of connection, self care and personal growth. Our retreat will unfold at the The Woman’s Club of Wisconsin, a timeless setting of candlelight, crystal, and conversation—a space that feels lifted from the pages of Pride and Prejudice.

If you require overnight lodging, the elegant Pfister Hotel is only blocks away with competitive rates for that weekend.
